FREDERICK, Md. – Frederick County is proud to announce its celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, honoring the vibrant cultures, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.

As part of this year’s observance, Frederick County Public Libraries is hosting a special display at the Walkersville Library. The exhibit features cultural items and family mementos shared by County employees.

To complement the display, the County has released a special video featuring employees who share their personal stories, family traditions, and the cultural heritage behind their items on display. The video is available on the County’s YouTube channel, and segments of the video will be released on Facebook and Instagram during Hispanic Heritage Month.

All are encouraged to visit the Walkersville Library to view the display and watch the video to recognize the rich diversity and lasting impact of Hispanic and Latino individuals across the County.
