4th Annual Sakonnet Bike & Stroll - 09/19/26

The 4th Annual Sakonnet Coastal Bike & Stroll will take place on September 19, 2026, from 9 am to 12pm in Island Park. It will feature two miles of scenic coastal roads closed to motor vehicles for a morning of car-free, family-friendly recreation.

Participants may walk, bicycle, ride scooters, or bring leashed dogs along the route.

Event Highlights

Two miles of car-free coastal roads: Park Avenue, Point Road and Hummock Point Road
Kids Chalk Art Zone with prizes
Free and open to everyone

Registration & Waiver

All participants must complete a signed waiver before participating. Participants are encouraged to complete the waiver online in advance to save time at check-in. Day- of registration will also be available at Flo's on Park Avenue.

The Sakonnet Coastal Bike & Stroll is organized by Island Park Coastal Community in conjunction with Bike Newport and the Portsmouth Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
